Conan In the Philippines

Hello everyone,

Sorry that it has been so long since I last posted. I have been looking at the reports of people who have been visiting my blog, and discovered that most people are from South East Asian, more specifically THE PHILIPPINES!

So in honor of all the loyal fans from the Philippines, I thought that I would focus a little bit on facts about Conan in the Philippines.

Can anyone name who the voice actor for Kudo Shinichi/Edogawa Conan is?

I didn't know this but it is a man named Robert Brilliantes, and he seems to be very popular in the Philippines as a voice actor.
Thank you everyone for following this! As a little trivia, can anyone name who does the voice for Mouri Ran in the Philippines?? Please leave you comments below!

Detective Conan: Movie 15 Quarter of Silence

My wife and I recently watched movie 15 Quarter of Silence, and we were very please. It contained all of the classic elements of Detective Conan, plus it had Conan on a upgraded rocket snowboard.

One thing that I thought went a little overboard was how many different 15 minutes of "silence" they were putting in to make us think "Oh my gosh! That is why they titled the movie that!". Maybe they were going for that cheesy affect though.

If you are looking to watch it here are the links to the different parts.

Over all it was very entertaining. I cannot wait for movie 16 to come out! I wonder what the new title will be.

Has anyone heard? Also let me know what you thought about the movie!

Mouri Kogoro Voice Actor and Black Organization Update

Greetings everyone!

Sorry for the long silence, life has just gotten in the way, and I have not been able to update this blog for a long time.

The other day my wife and I were watching some newer episodes of Detective Conan, and I still can not get used to the new voice of Mouri Kogoro. Some day lets hope so.

Here is just a small tribute to a signature piece of Mori Kogoro.

In other news, I was watching a few Japanese TV shows, and stumbled upon this!

For those of you who do not speak Japanese, what this is basically saying, is the person referred to as "Ano Kata" AKA the boss of the Black Organization has already appeared in Detective Conan. They are speculating that it might possibly be Professor Agasa. Before I used to think that Agasa referred to a famous mystery novelist named Agatha Christie, but this TV show says that Asasa is also a type of alcoholic beverage, which is a trademark of the Black Organization.

How mind blowing would it be if this is true?!
